Unlike other games that try to keep you scrolling forever, Daily Trivia is built around a specific daily "Play Window." Every single day, the game opens at 9:00 AM CST and vanishes at 9:00 PM CST.
This 12-hour countdown creates a global event feel. Whether you’re playing first thing in the morning or racing against the clock at 8:55 PM, you’re part of a synchronized global challenge. We’ve even implemented advanced timezone parsing to ensure everyone plays by the same CST clock—no time-zone cheating allowed!

In an era of invasive data harvesting, Daily Trivia is taking a stand. Our core philosophy is Minimal Information Gathering. We believe you shouldn't have to trade your digital soul just to answer five questions about 80s pop culture.
- Frictionless Onboarding: Sign in instantly with "Continue with Google." No long forms, no phone numbers, and no invasive profile building.
- Minimal Footprint: We only store what is absolutely necessary: your email, a chosen "Player ID," and your daily game scores.
- The "Right to be Forgotten": Want out? We’ve built a prominent "Delete Account" button directly into the settings. One click permanently wipes your scores, connections, and device tokens from our database.
- Top-Tier Security: Built on a foundation of Firebase with robust Firestore Security Rules, your data is isolated and cryptographically locked to your account only.

- Smart Push Notifications: Opt-in to daily reminders or use our "Remind Me Later" button to get a notification before the daily window closes.
- Ad-Supported Second Chances: If you get a question wrong, you can opt to watch a short rewarded ad for a "second chance" at the question.
